Hey y'all, welcome to another episode of Past Times at 80 High. Got another great one for you today. We are gonna do our top seven brat pack movies. Or to be a little more precise, six degrees to the brat pack, if you will, which we'll we'll get into that a little bit later. But first and foremost, the boys are back in town. So, Kevin, you're back. How's it going?
Doing great. Missed you guys last week. Sorry I couldn't be there, but uh I am psyched to be back with the gang today. Mindeed. And brother Mark.
Welcome back, Kev. We missed you. And hello, audience.
Thanks, brother. And Dungo. Eight. Glad the band's all back together.
Thank you for the shout out, Donald, on the uh anarchy in the UK. Definitely would have been uh one of mine for sure.
Awesome. Yeah, I'm glad we're all back here. We missed you for sure. So, anyway, uh what we're doing is we're gonna do a brat pack one, like I said, but I'm just gonna first give a list of names off, just to tie it into what we're gonna be picking today. Let's see. Amelio Esteves, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Mayor Winningham, and all of her movies, Allie Sheedy, Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Robert Downey Jr. James Spader, Timothy Hutton, Matt Dillon, Sean Penn, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Eric Stoltz, John and Joan Cusack, and C. Thomas Howell. I think that covers quite a bit. And there's a few people that are not in there that you might be wondering about, but we'll cover that later. But before we do, Kevin, do you have any shout-outs to anyone out there?
I certainly do, and that's why I couldn't be here last week. I had to go to Parts Unknown and ask why the Green Bastard wasn't listening to the show. But we do have a Bloomfield, New Jersey, Peoria, Illinois. So we play in Peoria. Sweet. Um Markham, Ontario, and Coon Valley, Wisconsin.
Nice. Wow. We're keeping it. We're keeping it. We're in the states. Oh no, well, no, Canada. Canada.
Well, it's it's America. The Americas.
Yes, indeed. Okay. Awesome. Well, what we do here is we love to get right underway with the list, with the list. So Kevin, your pick, and you have the on hairs today.
All right. So I want to start off with a little bit of background. You know, AJ talked about how some of our picks are going to be Brat Pack adjacent, which is pretty much everybody under the age of 50 that made a movie from 1980 to 1999, I think. But no, there was a lot of intermingling. But the whole thing kind of started when David Bloom wrote the article for the New Yorker. Now, this guy is a pencil neck geek, as Mark would say. He was, I think he reviewed books and furniture or something for the New Yorker. He was under contract for eight articles a year or something like that, and decided that he wanted to be somebody. So he rallied to get an interview with Emilio Estevez. And that turned into him going out a couple nights with Estevez, Lowe, Nelson, um, and a couple of other people. And I guess he decided the only way that he could make his mark was to shit on these people that were having a good time. Because when you read the article nowadays, I can understand where these guys kind of took offense to be calling be called brats. They went on Phil Donahue and talked about it and whatever else and got a little bit butthurt. But really the spirit of the article was that these guys were having a great time and he was a flippin' loser. I mean, that's that's what I took from it. Makes sense. Um so uh one of the stories that he does tell is though, you know, obviously that Brat Pack is a play on Rat Pack, which was Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Dean Martin, and all that. He said he does say that he'd been out to dinner a couple nights earlier and they'd overeaten, and somebody called them the Fat Pack. So that was in his mind when he wrote the article, and that's kind of where Brat Pack came from. So the original article lists Tom Cruise, who we've left out because his career really rocketed well before anybody else's did, and he really before they became the Brat Pack, um, he had really gone off in his own direction. Rob Lowe, Tim, Tim Hutton, who's kind of the godfather of it with ordinary people. That was like one of the first, it wasn't a brat pack movie, but it was one of the first semi-serious movies from the perspective of a young adult, right? And it kind of set it off. But Matt Dillon was mentioned, Nick Cage, Sean Penn, Matthew Broderick, Matthew Modine, and Kevin Bacon were the ones in the original articles, as well as say Andrew McCarthy, who was the one that made the documentary. Yes. And he was just butthurt about it because I think in the article, Blum, he didn't quote anybody, but he did say that McCarthy, somebody in the pack had referred to McCarthy as not having a lot of depth, um, kind of playing the same attention and and everything. And when you go back and look at it, I think there's a degree of yes, after, and my first pick is going to be St. Almo's Fire, nice, which is the one they were making when this interview and article happened. Drugs.
I knew it the minute he came in the door. Drugs.
Drugs. I don't think it would have sustained as the brat pack much after that, anyway. If you look at their careers, it was built on playing high schoolers and young adults, and they were kind of getting their own in St. Elmo's. You know what I mean? They'd been graduated college. What are you gonna do? Are you gonna was was the Brat Pack gonna keep making movies about high school? About high school. I mean, they were already too old when they did the first ones. So I think it was. I mean, obviously, there's there's hard feelings there. I don't think McCarthy's career, he wasn't gonna be Brando anyway. He didn't have the depth, right? Um, Nelson, I think, had a right to be pissed off a little bit because he really comes off as a jerk in the article, talking, you know, a girl sat down and he was like, never let him sit down. And what if there's a line that you can't cross and whatever else. And he was kind of a jerk and and a little stuck on himself at the time, as they all were. But like he talks about Rob Lowe and the women coming up to him. And I'm like, Rob Lowe could be a fry cook at McDonald's. And the women would come up, and the women are gonna be drawn to him like a magnet. I don't care. I'm man enough to say he's a good looking dude. He still is too. Absolutely, it's crazy how good looking he is. Motherfucker, exactly. Yes, jealousy. But anyway, so that's kind of where it came from from that article. And you know, it's just it was just that moment that it was given a name, again, a name that we never thought of as that bad, but again, being called a brat when you're an actor and all that. I can see it kind of, you know.
Yeah, and they also felt negative connotation.
Yeah, exactly. And and and I get it, but I don't think it destroyed anybody's career.
Yeah.
I mean, again, McCarthy was supposed to make a movie with um Emilio, who was much more into I mean, his career, you know, he was the unofficial president, but his career took off in a different direction, writing and producing and whatever else. But I think that was predetermined because him and Sean Penn and Charlie were making movies when they were like six years old.
Oh yeah.
And he was putting them together then. So I think that's kind of where his his direction was going. Yeah. Um, but when you talk about the adjacent uh Bratt Packers, like I said, that that goes everywhere. It could be, you know, M. Emmett Walsh is is in a bunch of the movies. Okay. Uh Harry Dean Stanton, who they kind of looked at as as their father figure, kind of in that, is in in quite a few of them that uh obviously will come up, so I'm not gonna mention them. But I always loved him, and they kind of, you know, they they partied with him and and uh and he was that older figure for them. So there's there's a good argument to relate a lot of people. Damn right, of course there is.
And even when you look the stuff up, I mean I get how they felt painted into a corner, you know what I mean? But uh when you look these movies up, which I didn't do till I was done with my list, but when you look them up, yeah, you you see so many of these actors we named in so many different movies that you probably wouldn't say that's a brat pack movie out of the gate, but they fucking are. Do you want to go in depth any more on St. Elmo's or before I get it?
No, it really wasn't that good a movie. All right. So um, you know, all these movies were good, but that one just wasn't, I don't know. That didn't it didn't strike me like the earlier ones did. Yeah, it it didn't have that feeling that those ones had. It was kind of again, towards the end of of what this was, it was okay, what do we do with these characters now? Yeah, and exactly wasn't wholly that interesting.
Precisely she moved into the new neighborhood, only six Jewish families very wealthy.
Are you in the card game too? Six friends.
When you meet when you get brother, to you. Okay. All right, AJ. Thank you. Um, what I want to say briefly is uh a couple things about Brat Pack with it makes it a passionate uh subject for me. These actors and actresses are right around my age. In fact, most of them are a little bit older than I am. This is when I was not growing up like I did in the 70s, meaning I was a kid, but this was when I was getting into adulthood and everything. And another thing I want to say is how I'm gonna go about it is um got the idea from Donnie a little bit. So I'm gonna talk about the movie and I'm gonna tell you a scene or two that I really like about it, and then I'm gonna talk about why it's really important to me, or something I you know, a lesson, if you will, that came from the movie. But we're gonna start with 1984 16 Candles. It had Molly Ringwall, Anthony Michael Hall, and one of my favorite scenes in this movie is uh the guy's the actor's name was Gede Wantanabe, um, famous from UHF from Wheel of Fish.
Today, one of these lucky contestants will win his or her waiting fish right here on Wheel.
And his name was Wong Duck Dong.
And he comes down and he says, No more Yankee my wanky! Dong need food. No more Yankee my wanky. The donger need food.
The donga needs food. As I'm watching the movie, uh I I'm like, that is the guy from UHF. And that was friggin' hilarious. But uh, it's funny that you know Anthony Michael Hall he ends up with a popular girl because she's so hammered and everything, and it it was just really funny to get in a car crash. But one of the things why this movie is important to me, because the whole premise of the movie, obviously, is Molly Ringwald's character, Samantha. They forgot the poor girl's birthday, and I have to give her credit. She didn't bitch about it at all. She just went about her day, she was hurt and everything. And I have a little story going dating back to I don't know what year it was, I think 1981. And the person lived right up near you, Donnie. His name was Peter, his last name rhymed with spaghetti. He also shared a birthday with yours truly. And uh this is how I fit in so great up there in that town. Um, they were uh singing happy birthday. You know, we're drinking Mulse and Goldens. That was the beer of the time. And when it got to Happy Birthday, dear, did they say Peter and Mark?
No, no, happy birthday, dear Peter. So I can relate.
Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear mom. Happy birthday to you.
See, we love you out there, pal.
I don't really miss this time in my life, obviously, but this movie was very important to me in that I know what it's like.
So I always felt there was a lot of similarities between you and Molly Ringwald. I'm just fucking with you. Uh my stuff, I'm sure it'll come up again, but I could my favorite is when when the the grandfather's talking to the police about the donger. And he's just, well, he's he's wearing a uh uh sweater and some khakis and some no, he's not retarded. Yeah. There's such a great line that if you're not paying attention, you miss it. I do remember that part.
And I'm not gonna say anything either because we missed someone in there, but this might come up again. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone. Possibly, yeah. All right, so that's to me then. And this how do I word this? This was the easiest, most difficult list I've had to do yet. That makes perfect sense. It was so simple to just pick seven of these. So I was gonna try to go deep at first, and then I'm like, I can't leave my favorites out. So I decided I'd go with a mixed bag. So I definitely had to make some cuts that should be on my list, but they weren't because I wanted to throw a few deeper ones in there that were important to me. So I'm gonna start off. This one's gonna speaking of six degrees, this is six degrees to Kevin Bacon right out of the gate. And this was called Whitewater Summer from 1987. Had Sean Aston in it, and here's my link to the North Shore. It had Matt Adler in it, who was kind of the punk in the movie. But basically, it's just about these kids that go, you know, uh on kind of an outward-bound thing, if you will. And Kevin Bacon's the leader, you know, who's training them throughout and trying to toughen them up, you know, to live in the wilderness, you know, if that were to ever happen. And they're all kind of punks, and most of them seem like they don't want to be there at all. It's just a real uh coming of age movie, and one of the scenes that comes to mind is towards the end, Matt Adler smacks Kevin Bacon with an oar, and he flies off like a ledge and into the ravine.
Jesus! Oh my god!
Busts his leg up, and the four kids, I believe it's four of them, I haven't seen it for years, but I love this movie. And they tie him up into like a canoe or a kayak, I can't remember, and basically save his life using all the shit they learned from what he taught them. So it kind of comes back around to that, but just a fun movie to me, and I figured I'd throw it on my list. Dungo, that would go to you.
Alright. So I kind of went a little bit with the mixed bag, like you did, AJ. Um, I also kind of went with the like if you Google Brat Pack, and it was kind of like to Andrew McCarthy's documentary, the it was a Hulu documentary, Bratz.
Yep.
The original names are kind of like Emilio Estevez, Anthony, Anthony Michael Hall, Ali Sheedy, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, and Molly Ringwald. And then, of course, there's so many different variations of that. So I kind of went with that list, and then I went with movies that were you know actors that that from that list. Um, not necessarily because you could also Google Brat Pack movies, and there's very there's only like I don't know eight of them.
Oh wow, IMBD had like 40 of them, right?
I know it's all criteria, yeah. Yeah, because like St. Almost Fire kind of had the um most of them all in one place, yeah, with the exception of like Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall. But I went with for my number seven, um, I went with Weekend at Bernie's, who had Andrew McCarthy. And um, the funny, like I was just going through scenes, and the funniest scene that I saw was uh they were in a boat and they're like throttling through the Hamptons, like full throttle, and they're like looking at girls, like woo, all right, woo, and then the Bernie dude like falls off the bat on a rope, and then he started they they're like, ooh, a slalom, and it was like buoys, and they start and you hear it. You mean the body hit the buoys?
It's like doom like what was that? He was hitting them all.
Oh god, what the hell are those things? You hear something? Uh-uh.
There it is again! Yeah. I wonder what that is. What is that?
What?
He's got nice forms. It was like his head.
It was a funny stupid movie, but I mean it was funny. It was funny as hell. Good for laughs, you know. Great for laughs. Great for laughs. I picked him first because Andrew McCarthy is probably my least favorite of the Brat Pack. No fault to him. I mean, he was just a kind of a pretty boy, not really an endearing character, usually, in any of his movies.
So he was also my least favorite. Yeah, yeah. And Kevin, I believe you said that too. Yeah, yeah.
Well, as far as the article goes. Yeah, he was just pretty one-dimensional. You know, I mean, he'd always there'd always be the scene where he, you know, made his eyes big or something. You know, he hit like three or four things that he did, and they were good for what they were, but again, no Brando.
Right. No Brando, exactly. Great pick, though, Don. It was one of my guts. Uh awesome. Back to you, Kev.
All right. So, as much as we have maligned uh Mr. McCarthy, uh, my next pick is a very early join up of some of the brat Packers. Towards the beginning of it, uh, was Class from 1983 with Andrew McCarthy and and Rob Lowe. It was it was not a bad movie. No, it wasn't. It wasn't a bad movie at all. I don't know if you guys remember it, but Mc McCarthy um kind of and there was a lot of this theme in these movies was the the beautiful versus the ugly, the rich versus the poor. Yeah, he was the poor kid on the scholarship going to the prep school, Rob Lowe's making fun of him. He gets kicked out of the girls' school after you see Virginia Madison Madsen's titty, and he can't go to the girls' school or the dance, so Lowe gives him a hundred bucks, McCarthy takes a hundred bucks, goes into Chicago, and bangs Rob Lowe's mother.
Wait a second, I can buy us dinner. Oh, I am gonna joke.
It's only money. Yeah, well, it's my only money.
Have you ever been in love?
Uh yeah, it was when he found that a hundred dollar bill.
Have you ever been in a big one? Um and it gets a little Jackie Bassette and it gets a little, you know, crazy from there. Um, but so many good people in it. I mean, QSAC was and that's that's the thing about Cusack is he was like he had all of these roles where he had like one or two lines early on. And his career didn't get really going until later. Yep. But just a great, a great actor in those, in those films. But so he was in it. Um, Cliff Robertson, um, Stuart Margolin, who I always loved. He was angel on the Rockford Files. He was, I just love, I love watching those movies, and you see those people that were like, Oh, I remember what do I remember that guy from? It takes you a minute. You're like, oh, yeah, that's right. Alan Rock was was in that as well, as you know, kind of a secondary. Uh, but you also had Casey uh Semezko, Semetzko. I mean, and he's been in everything. He's he's one of those guys that might be Brat Pack adjacent adjacent. Yeah. Uh um, Anna Maria Horsford actually uh plays the maid uh in that, and she's also the Horsford. She's also the prostitute in uh St. Elmo's Fire. So she technically is Brat Pack adjacent. But just a really good movie from its time, and and a lot of these ones are just they weren't they weren't Academy Award-winning things, but some of them it's just so good to go back and see the things that were relevant to us and how we thought and and what was going on in that era, and it just oh my god, sorry to interrupt, yeah.
I apologize, but of all the girls to meet in Chicago, you know, right? Yeah, yeah, exactly.
I mean, come on, you know.
Oh well, the worst part is is when he gives him the hundred bucks, he tells him because he had to get laid, he says, You gotta come back and uh with some panties, and unbeknownst to either of them, he comes back with the panties from Jackie Bassett, and Rob Lowe's got him hanging on the moose head over his bed. And it's like, dude, you're sleeping with your mother's panties over your bed. That's beepy. But also, I mean, thinking about that era, sex was pretty, I mean, it was a lot more promiscuous. That was I don't know if that was pre-AIDS, but everybody was still kind of rolling with it at that point.
I mean, it was it was pre-yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so anyway, class was a forgotten, but I I think kind of at the the springboard era for for the brat pack, and cool had quite a few of the boys in there and in small roles as well.
Awesome pick.
All right, brother, that's to you. All right, we're going back to 1984, and this this is kind of off the beaten path. It's not funny at all. It's called Red Dawn. And um, as we know, this is during the height of the Cold War. One of my favorite scenes of the movie, obviously, is the very beginning. You know, they had the profess and no, they were they were in high school. Uh, you know, they're just going over a book or whatever it was, and he looks out. They must be way off course.
I would say they were way off course. Uh let me say, very unusual. Whatever.
And the kids are all excited, wow, right on, you know, and all of a sudden the uh teacher gets shot in the stomach, and it's all all hell breaks loose. It was a very dark movie. You had C. Thomas Howell as Robert Morris, Patrick Swayze as Jet Eckert, and Charlie Sheen as Matt Eckert. Another great scene to me was, and I was so proud of this group. You know, they were in a educate re-education camp, and all of a sudden, this group of people, you know, they're haggardly, they're older and everything, and all of a sudden they start singing very, you know, knowing they're gonna get shot. Oh beautiful, awesome. Awesome, awesome, it's just you know, you had the scene in the uh the other re-education camp with the Eckert's father.
Avenge me!
Yeah, he was cool, man. He was a cool thing. Yeah, that's Glenn Stanton. Yeah, exactly. The father figure.
Yes, yeah, it was a it was a great movie. I mean, I do believe we ended up victorious. I couldn't find the movie. I mean, I these are move most of these movies are movies I remember from back in the day.
So I'm going on memory, but you know, and my incredible movie. Yes, but the remake is not. Oh, I respect that.
Well, no, that's that's 99 times out of a hundred. That's is exactly what you're gonna find, AJ. But you know, the reason this is an important movie to me is again, it was at the height of the Cold War, and people are on edge here and there. Anytime you've heard anything about a nuclear weapon or anything like that, people got a little bit hot and bothered and a little bit scared. So we lived in fear.
We lived in fear, and it was intentional.
A lot of the movies and most of the music. I mean, you talk about 99 red balloons. That was again that was a nuclear war protest.
99 red balloons, loading on the sky, that is bad, it's rather loaded. The world machine brings the light. Open some eager eye, focus on it, oh my god.
Honestly, to go down the rabbit hole a little bit, I believe Donald Rumsfeld had some kind of either as a consultant or something on Red Dawn, as well, from you know, for one of Reagan's cabinet members. But I always just love that the because I didn't realize it until years later, that uh that opening scene that you talked about. I just I just love the fact when you look back, it's like, okay, so they're mapping out their attack of the United States of America, and the Russians are gonna do this, and who were they? Were the who were the guys, I think Cubans? Yeah, so the Cubans are like, okay, so what we need you to do is we need you to land in this small town in Colorado, right? And the first objective is the high school and the history teacher. If you get them, the rest of the country falls.
It's all it's it's well, maybe they were way off course, Kevin.
You know, they could have been, but they seemed like that was their plan. It's like we're gonna take this little podunk town in in the middle of the country. Oh, I know.
I don't know the proximity to Norad or whatever, you know, the the right that could be could have been that was in like yeah, I don't know.
It could have also been over Wyoming, but it could have also been such a small, you know, large area land-wise, but small population that they could set up base, you know what I mean? Yeah, right.
Well, I mean I'm guessing if you're Russia, you're not giving the Cubans like you know, high value targets. They're they're kind of taking the secondary and tertiary.
Right, exactly.
Although it didn't really work for them, did it?
No.
Awesome pick, though. Great pick, Mark. All right, thank you. So that's number six to me, correct?
And yes, sir.
This is one I was gonna leave off, but I couldn't because it was one of my all-time favorites. This movie is from 1986 with Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Cynthia Gibb, lots of people in this, and it's called Youngblood. It's a hockey movie, which I absolutely love hockey, but this movie to me was just so fun. I mean, the team was funny as hell, the coach was funny as hell. Uh, Murray Chadwick was the coach, and it's Ed Lauder, who was one of the guards in the longest yard with Burt Reynolds.
You better start hitting out there. Let him know you're in the same goddamn rink. I didn't drive halfway up the fucking Artic Circle to get my ass kicked by these goons. Next half you could skate around with a cotton of eggs and not break any out there.
It's just so fun in so many ways. And my favorite scene from this movie is, of course, the sex scene with Cynthia Gibbs. Because man, does she have a smoking body in that movie? And I can see the scene right now, and I haven't watched this movie for years. But uh, the other scene I loved is when Racky, I loved Racky, he was the bad dude on the team wearing the black uniforms, just kick ass. He was the the n the Kevin Nylon, right? Just the guy Chris Nylon, you mean Chris Nylon, thank you. That would he cross-checks Patrick Swayze, Derek Sutton into the boards, and the he basically ended his career right there. So it's just a fun fucking movie to watch. And I don't know if it would hold up now, actually. I'd like to see it again to see if it does, but it was a lot of fun to me in all the movies. Oh, one other scene I wanted one other scene I wanted to say real quick that I loved is when the three refs come out skating on the ice and Chadwick, the coach, is like, huh, three blind mice.
Three blind mice, yeah.
Uh I actually I don't think I if I saw that one, I don't recall it. I probably did, but I just didn't have a lot of recollection. But I was just looking through and Keanu Reeves.
Oh, yeah, he's the goalie, I think.
Right. He he he is now Brad Packett Jason.
Yeah, yeah. I had him on the list too. I forgot to mention him. He was great. And the guy with the dentures when they're at the bar and he he takes uh his dentures out and puts it in the girls' blindary. That was fine. It's a fun movie, Kev. You should check it out for sure. Oh, I will. I will. I don't know if it's yeah, not really your heart throbbed the entire movie. Uh yeah, Roblo. In a jock strap, no less. Yeah, there you go. All right, Donko. That's number sixty.
Okay, for my number six, I'm gonna go with a brat pack uh staple, Demi Demi Moore, and who I would like to call the Brat Packs older brother, uh, Patrick Swayze, who was in so many movies with them as the older brother figure. Uh, but in this movie he was Demi's husband and it was Ghost.
Yeah.
So that was the you know, if I'm trying to pick one movie that I liked from Demi more, it was Ghost. And Ghost is a you know kind of a sappy movie, but it also is a pretty funny, fun movie to watch. Absolutely. Um, like I don't like Whoopi personally, but I liked her in that movie. Yeah, um, she was a Oda Mae Brown. Yeah, yeah, she was great, she's a great actress. Um, I just can't stand her on the view, but uh nobody can you're right.
She I mean she was a good actress before she came out. She's a psychopath.
Yeah, yeah, she was great in Star Trek. I loved her in Star Trek.
Yes, guy, guy, yeah. You gotta separate the talent from the person, I guess. Right.
But but I uh my favorite scene in that is when he's in the subway. Oh, it's not the vase the clay vase like Patrick Swayze as the ghost is in the subway, and he learns from uh it's Vincent Shivelli, I think is carrying. You know, he played the subway ghost. Yeah. He kind of taught Patrick Swayze how to uh manipulate objects, you know.
What are you doing?
What the hell are you doing? What am I you trying to move it with your finger? You can't push it with your finger, you're dead. The problem with you is you still think you're real. You think you're wearing those clothes? You think you're crouched on that floor? Bullshit! You ain't got a body no more, son. It's all up here now. You want to move something, you gotta move it with your mind. You gotta focus. You hear what I'm saying? How? How do you focus? I don't know how you focus. Just focus.
He's he's chevelli. He's an awesome actor. He's just got like the most interesting face.
He was in fast times, he was the teacher that gave up coffee.
Yeah, yes, he's he's Brad Packett Jason as well. Yeah, right.
So yeah, that was my favorite scene when he learned how to move move an object, and then then it was on from there. Like he knew how to mess around with stuff now.
I have to finish what you were saying, Dongo, because my favorite part of that movie is the scene you're talking about, and then the cigarette machine breaks, and he goes, Oh, what I do for a drag.
Oh, I'd give anything for a drag. Just one drag.
Are you alright?
Who are you? Why are you hounding me? Who sent you? It was awesome.
Yeah, that was great. Yeah, perfect.
I love the uh Chappelle does a little spoof on that, where he comes down and he's and he's um he's the guy that's banging Demi, which is we all pause when we say, because we want to say demi, but we've been corrected so many times and it's demi.
I still say demi. Demi. Okay, well I'll have to remember that.
So Chappelle is is the new boyfriend, and he's like, Oh, I can see you.
Oh man. You know, I see you. You know, I yeah, I'm looking right at you. Freaking me, you like to watch? You wanna watch? How does it make you feel?
You want to watch it? He's like, he's just like fucking with a ghost. He's like and he's spanking her or whatever else and doing all this stuff, and just just messing with the ghost because he can see him. It's it's a hilarious skill.
That's awesome. I'm gonna look that up. Oh, great pick, Dongo. All right, Kev. Number we're at number five to you.
Number five to me was it was one of those ones where I don't think it was all that big, I don't think it was all that popular, but I just loved it. It probably had a lot to do with Kim Richards from Escape to Witch Mountain because she was absolutely knockout in the in Tough Turf. James Spader, you kind of like, God bless him, in his later years, like when he was in the office. It kind of feels like justification that he's bald because his hair was so flipping magnificent back then. It was just like, wow, what is that? Um, it was kind of crazy. I mean, you got Robert Downey Jr. Um playing a small role in that one. Uh, and again, like I said, Kim Richards, Olivia Barish, who is gonna be in another one of my picks coming up, but she was in tons of, you know, 3-2-1 contact and and after school specials and whatever, just a very recognizable face. The amazing part is that it was like supposed to be a serious movie, but as was that era '85, they also had to put musical numbers in it for like little to no reason at all.
It was like tough turn. Featuring music by Stopside Johnny, Lena Lovich, Marianne Faithful, Jim Carroll, and Jack Mac and the heart attack.
It was like that and the you know, the mandatory boob.
Of course.
The producer would look at the at the rushes, the daily rushes of the movie, and be like, yeah, um, movie looks good so far, but I've seen zero titties. So I'm gonna need you to go back and and work on that because this, you know. Um the gratuitous titty scene. Yes. And and we appreciated that at that door. Certainly weren't seeing too many, you know, it was just a great you never understand exactly why Spader's character is troubled. You know that he's troubled, and he's kind of a badass and goes after um Kim's boyfriend at the time, and and the whole thing starts a bit of a a bit of a war. They run over his bicycle and meet Morgan Hiller.
First day in a new school.
You ready for it?
I always he's got an attitude.
Go back fighting what camp. Well, I was just sort of hoping I could take a quick ride through history.
You've got, I mean, again, even though the musical numbers seem awkward, you you had Jim Carroll and the Jim Carroll band live and in the movie, and um Robert Downey's playing drums with him, and then later when they're driving around, they're playing uh People That Have Died, which is one of Carroll's biggest, biggest hits. Um, Jack Mac and the Heart Attacks is in it. So there were some you know quality musicians that were involved in that as well, but they just I don't know if they totally fit into the story, but it worked.
Awesome movie, man. Such a great, great movie. God.
All right, keep in mind, very flexible.
That's to you, Mark. All right, well, this is a repeat. This is also Youngblood. I'm glad you picked it, AJ. This is one of the movies I could not find to watch the entire movie because I like to refresh myself a lot. But I definitely did see clips, and I obviously loved the movie when I saw it. One of my favorite scenes is uh the part where the coach gets all this shit thrown on him, some idiot throws a bunch of drinks on him or whatever, and he goes, kicks his ass. Yes, love that scene. You know, and I it was great, and it reminded me of when the Boston Bruins in 1979 and Madison Square Garden went into the stands. You had Peter McNabb, Mike Milbury, Terry O'Reilly kicking the ass of these idiot fans. Yeah, that was great.
Well, we got a little thing going on here between Beaton and Card. As uh the fans are now getting involved. As O'Reilly is in the stands. And this is gonna be something O'Reilly's in the stands. McNabs going up to grab somebody. About seven or eight rolls up. Well, this is too bad that after the game is over, it gets out of hand like this.
That scene when uh Swayze Sutton ended up laying it on his head. What a dirtbag move from Racky AJ. I know you you liked him and everything.
No, I didn't like him. It was a good scene.
Oh, it was a good laid on his head. And this movie is important to me because this is around the time that I was a all right, I can't say professional hockey player. It was a men's league, okay? And I, you know, I didn't, I did not wear a helmet, so I could have landed anytime. Nobody had to knock my helmet off because I didn't wear one, because I was a veteran and I was a real man. That's why this movie is important to me. You talked about this movie a lot, AJ. Just an absolutely entertaining, fun movie.
Yes, it was. And with that being said, I have to butt in here real quick, because one of our most loyal listeners, who is Kevin from He's Local, uh, was texting me last night, actually. And we were talking about the Maroons and The Maroons. We were the Maroons. What a red flag. Awesome. Awesome.
So, Mark, when you were playing men's league without a helmet, did you smoke too? Because that was one no, you didn't smoke. That was one of my favorite uh old clips of of uh of old sports was like the black and white film of hockey, and the guys had the goalie didn't we had a face mask, and and the other guys were smoking on the bench with no helmets.
Sometimes the goalie, yeah, did you say did or didn't have a face mask?
Sometimes they didn't, but I mean the only one that had any head protection was the you know the Jason Voorhees mask or whatever that was. Which is gonna smash into your face, which just softens the sting of a 90 mile an hour puck coming at your melon.
That took a serious sack.
I played without a helmet and nobody said a damn thing.
I'm proud of you, Mark.
Well, thank you very much. Everyone thought it was friggin' crazy, but you had to.
And the funny thing is, is Mark wasn't thinking of protecting his addies, was thinking I gotta be like the cool dudes.
I I wanted, I what my biggest years in hockey were the seven late seventies. Yeah. The lunch pail gang. Exactly. Don Cherry years. And he told his players.
Kevin said smoking on the bench.
The bottom line is the Don Cherry lunch pail years. And I met Rick Middleton at a why not gig. Yeah. Shalimar. Yeah. At Shalimar. What a friggin' awesome dude he was. But the bottom line is he said, Yeah, Don Cherry did not want his men uh wearing helmets. And you you can look at footage from those years. You had teams like the North Stars, they didn't have anyone that didn't wear a helmet. So that backs that up. So anyway, those were good times. Kevin Shaw, you were a great player.
All right, that's number five to me. And this is here we go again with a big one that I could not leave off my list. Anthony Michael Hall, many others in this movie. It's weird science. This is just one of my favorite comedies of all time. It really makes me think of you, Dongo and Todd. Everyone knows this movie out there. They create a woman, Kelly LeBrock, super hot, and she's trying to help them out how to be, you know, teenagers, which she's kind of abrupt, actually. Yeah, like really pushing these kids that are trying to be good boys, but it's fucking hilarious. There's so many good scenes, but back to what I was saying. One of my favorite scenes that makes me think of our late buddy Todd is when they're in the bathroom at their own party, and yes, the girls are knocking because they need the bathroom.
We thought there were just girls in there.
I'm sorry.
Oh, it's just us dudes. Yeah.
What are you doing here?
Gary was just taking a shit.
No, what I meant. No, no, no. What I meant was what are you doing at the party?
Oh, it's on my house.
This is your party.
He shuts the door, slaps wire, and then opens the door again. And it's one of the funniest fucking scenes. But it's such a great movie. I won't go into depth because I know everyone listening to this knows it anyway.
But that was the great thing about Anthony Michael Hall. As much as he was in the beginning, was the total nerd. He always had the capability, a degree of like still shitting on his buddies so that he was one notch up from the other.
He was the king of the geek. Exactly. Yeah.
Like which makes I don't want to talk about anything that we haven't talked about, but wasn't it 16 Candle where they walk into the party and he knocks over the pyramid and he looks at what is it, uh Q-Sack or something? Nice job, and he walks off. So he was just that much cooler than the rest of us. I called it on a telephone.
What are you talking about called on a telephone? I called every night for like a month. I mean, I'm talking devotion, man.
Every damn night?
Every night, Mitch. I ain't playing with you. On the telephone? What's the boy talking about on the telephone, man? What the goddamn, we know there's some telephone, boy. What the hell am I doing? But he hung up on her.
Oh, you didn't hang up on her. The chick with those big big titties.
Man, I hung up on the bitch. Man, you know, now here's the camper. You know what the bitch did to me?
Lay it on.
Chase this shit out.
Listen to what just incredible. All right, Dongo.
To you. Cool. So this one is got a lot of the Brat Packers, and it has the Brat Pack uh older brother, Patrick Swayze, and it is the Outsiders. Awesome movie. Um, you know, kind of very reminiscent to West Side's story and Romeo and Juliet. You know, they're all very similar. Where it's like, you know, the outsiders is kind of like small town, and it's uh I gotta it's like the Jets versus the Sharks is in West Side's story, and that's more ethnic. Where in the outsiders it's the the Greasers versus the Soch, which is more of like class warfare. And then Romeo and Julia is more like family, family stuff. Thankfully, they didn't really go the romance side on the outsiders. It was more like a bittersweet ending versus a tragic ending. Yeah, but my favorite part is when uh Ralph Macchio's character uh dies because I hate Ralph Machio.
No, just to write an editorial is about you in the paper, you know, about you being a hero. We're all proud of you, buddy. It's gonna be alright.
Pony boy. Staygold. Pony boy, staygold.
I just don't think he's that great of an actor. Uh he's not a great actor at all. He's just in some fun movies.
But 16, he looks like he's 14. Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, and he he didn't play the tough guy role at all. No, yeah, no, yeah, it didn't play. What a great movie, though, man. But an awesome cast, and they all play well off each other, which is cool.
Yeah, like I talked about before, there's a lot of that class warfare theme that was going on in those movies at that time. And the other thing is that's an S. E. Hinton, right? Which was yeah, I mean, kind of like the center of the Brat Pack. There was a lot of that was their go-to author. Oh, absolutely. Which and doesn't she pay, doesn't she play the nurse?
Yes, I believe she does. One of the nurses, right? Awesome pick. Uh wrong side of the track movie. You know, just awesome. All right. That's to you, Kev.
All right. Well, I gotta call Audibles because I thought I I thought I was uh off track enough that that it wouldn't, but you guys are taking all my stuff. So this this one is in my world, this is kind of a stretch to call it a Brat Pack movie, but I absolutely love this movie for so many reasons, and that would be Say Anything 1989. It was a little bit later, it was Q-Sack, uh BB Newworth was in it, Lily Taylor, Pam Adlon, who was in Louie, and then had the show Better Things. She also did the voice for Bobby Hill on King of the Hill. Um, and I think she's got one line in it. She says, Maybe she actually likes him. Ioni Skye, who was just so awesome, and then Mahoney, who was big on Frasier as well. But just that iconic scene of him out there, and I think you I think on the jute box or the the boom box, yeah. And the director in your eyes. Oh, the original, gotcha. In the movie, but when they were filming it, he played that. And then, of course, my favorite scene from that movie is when he's sitting down to dinner with her family, and the father asked him, Well, what do you want to do? And he's like, I don't want to buy anything that's sold or bought. I don't want to sell anything that's bought or sold. I don't want to package anything that's pre-packed. I can't remember how he does. But he just goes on all of these and he just wants to kickbox, which is like, I'm sure, filled her father with nothing but glee.
Thought about this quite a bit, sir, and I I would have to say, considering what's waiting out there for me, I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold bought or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, it's a career. I don't want to do that. So uh my father's in the army. He wants me to join, but uh can't work for that corporation. Um so what I've been doing lately is kickboxing, which is a uh new sport, but I think it's got a good future.
Didn't realize that she's dating this guy that wants to be a kickboxer. Yeah. And he says it's the up and coming thing, which didn't pan out because I don't know. Did you get I mean if he had said UFC, he might have been ahead of the curve, but kickboxing right there, good didn't really make it into the into the next era, but the mainstream yeah. I just I just love that movie. It's such a great movie.
I love him as the key master in that movie. Yeah. When he was in the very beginning of master.
And he's like, give me my keys, and I was like, You must chill. You must chill.
Give me my fire key! You must chill, you must chill. I have hidden your keys, chill.
I love you, man. All right, I love you too. Go to sleep.
All right, uh we we use that phrase for for many years as well.
You must chill. That boombox scene, though, is one of the biggest scenes from the absolutely awesome pick.
All right, Mark. Okay, well, this is Aja, you're jumping me here. That's okay because it just adds more substance to the movie. I'm picking Weird Science as well from 1985. You've already talked about the actors, and uh, yeah, some of my favorite scenes is when uh Lisa is in the shower with Wyatt, who, by the way, was kind of annoying as far as I'm concerned, the way he talks. Very annoying. And Gary and they're like little boys in front of a absolutely smoking hot woman. And they were clueless. I don't know what the hell they were doing in there. And I obviously loved this.
Wearing their pants in the shower.
Yeah, exactly.
If we're gonna have any kind of fun together, you guys are better loosen up.
I love the bar scene where you know they're w around all these older black guys, and you know, they ended up getting along great, and he comes out, he's all I mean, I don't think he ever drank. I'm talking about Anthony Michael Hall, exactly. And uh and my absolute favorite scene in this whole movie is where Lisa's sitting here talking to to uh Gary's parents, and I'm taking him to a party. And she was just not taking no for an answer. Nobody fucked with her. And did I say she was really hot? I don't know if you're not.
You did say that. Did you say she pulled a gun out?
Oh, she did pull a gun. She most certainly did, Ollie.
And that scene you're talking about, Mark. Oh, go ahead. I don't want to take over.
I was just gonna say why this movie is important to me, I guess, is you know, everyone would just love to be able to create the perfect woman. Yes. I still want to. I understand that. I I totally understand.
There's no such thing, though.
Well, no, they do have sex robots coming out and they're getting more higher, you know, more advanced every day. So there's hope. But uh no, seriously, it was just a such a funny movie. And Anthony Michael Hall, like you said, Kevin, he's always just a notch above, and you know, he does he I would you say he got pigeon-holed, kind of as the the he was in he did, but then I mean he started a whole new career with some kind of cop show or something.
He changed completely his face. He doesn't even look like the same guy anymore.
Yeah, he's in Reacher, yeah, right. He's in Reacher. I was like four episodes in until I realized it was him. Okay. But what I was saying is that movie, I mean, that scene mark you were talking about, when she says he was tossing off in the bathroom.
Have you ever wondered how sad it is that your son's only sexual outlet is tossing off to magazines in the bathroom?
I never shut up.
You told me you were combing your hair. I've never tossed off. I've never tossed off.
And he's using his hands. It's so fucking hilarious. Awesome, Mark. Oh, so many quotable quotes from that movie. Yeah. Oh, it's just a fantastic movie.
Looks like you guys need a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray. Paxton.
How about a nice greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray? Paxton.
Paxton was great. He's passed, right? That's unfortunate, baby.
He was awesome.
Yeah.
And now, a short commercial break.

Pop Rock. Stretch Armstrong. Jack, the Bionic Man. Jack. You've gone back in time. This is Pastime's at 80 Times.
Alright, so that's number four to me. This is another movie I couldn't leave off. And it's one of those tie-ins because Kiefer Sutherland is in this. And it's from 1987. I've talked about it in the past, but I couldn't leave it off my list. And it's The Lost Boys. This is just one of my favorite 80s movies. Everyone for a long time loved the two Coreys. And I will say that both Corey Hayman and Corey Feldman are great in this movie and funny as hell. But it's so fun. Vampires and what was it? Was it Santa Monica? What was it? Santa. Santa Carla.
One thing about living in Santa Carla, I never could stomach. All the damn vampires.
One of my favorite scenes in this one, and I I don't like to use the Lord's name in vain, and I never do, but I thought it was so fucking funny in this movie when they go find the cave on the ocean side where the vampires are sleeping during the day, go in and like stick, I think it's uh Bill from Bill and Ted's. They stick him and kill him. And Kiefer Southern's like, you're dead meat.
Good night, bloodsucker. No!
You dead me when they're running out of there and they're like fucking jumping in the car, and they saved uh your girl dongo, Jamie Garrett's there, and the little boy, whatever his name was, I forget. But and they're pulling out in the convertible, and I think it's Corey Haim driving, and he accidentally puts it in reverse and almost backs off the cliff, and Corey Feldman look Corey Feldman looks back and goes, Christ, burn rubber.
Christ! Burn rubber does not mean warp speed.
And it's so fucking funny, and then they bail out of there. But it's such a fun movie. I'm sure everyone out there has seen it. It's fun as hell, man. Vampires, you know, California, amusement parks. I don't know. It's it's fun as hell. So I'll leave it at that and go to you, Dongo.
Ah, is it it's moi?
Yeah, that's it.
Number four, I have this as the Brat Pack adjacent movie because most of them were Brat Pack adjacent, and it is Red Dawn. You know, because it had the C. Thomas Howe, Leah Thompson, Charlie Sheehan, Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Gray, which are all very brat packy people, but they weren't in the official Brat Pack, but they're in the official adjacent Brat Pack. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, and it was an awesome movie. I think my favorite part, there's so many, but um, you said a lot of them. Avenge me. I love that part.
Avenge me! Avenge me!
When C. Thomas Howell just kind of like realizes his his time is up, and there's this Russian, it's the classic, like 80s Russian helicopter that's got like wings and it's got all kinds of like rocket launchers and Gatling guns and all that stuff on it. And he's just all he's got is an AK-47, and he's shooting at the helicopter. I think he got one of the guys, you know, he's got like the gunner guy, but then the pilot takes him out, but he's like war yes. Awesome. Awesome scene. Like everybody's like, that's how I want to go, you know. If I have to go up, that's a great way to go.
Yeah, awesome scene. Another one when they pop up out of the out of the ground. Remember, they cover shit with hay.
And we used to play war in each in when I lived in Massachusetts, and I dug little holes because of that scene. Exactly. Put little hay on it.
Awesome. And another one is when they are deer hunting, so they can eat while they're out there, and they make them drink the deer blood.
Yes, it's your first time, isn't it? Yeah. What? You gotta drink if it's your first. We did. What's it taste like? It's not too bad. I mean, it's it's it's kind of salty like a steak when you got a nose bleed, you know. Gotta do it, Robert. The spirit of the deer.
Go go for it, buddy.
All right, all right. You did it, man. His blood is yours. You know, my dad said that once you do that, there's gonna be something different about you. Always.
Yeah, that was on my list of I got my first year this year, actually. Frank.
The first thing I said was, Did you drink it?
That's the first thing I thought when you right. And well, Frank, uh, the guy who helped me dress it, was like, you know, you have to eat the heart, right? I mean, raw, he was telling me. Which I did eat said heart, and it was quite delightful, but I cooked it. All right. Yes. That's the you, I believe, Kevin.
Number three. Number three. Well, I got I gotta do it. This is this is how we got our name. Fast times at Ridgemont High. Amy Heckerling, who also did one of our central movies to our lives, Johnny Dangerously. Crazy that she was directing such fantastic movies and then didn't get a lot of credit for it, and then did a lot of garbage and then came around. But interesting, up and down kind of career. But I have to give Amy some credit because she has directed two of my favorite all-time movies. Obviously, we all know this one, it's just such an absolute staple. I mean, come on. Are you wasting my time, Mr. Spicoli? Well, Mr. Hond, if I'm here and you're here, isn't it our time? Our time?
You know, I've been thinking about this, Mr. Han. If I'm here and you're here, doesn't that make it our time? Certainly there's nothing wrong with a little feast on our time.
You're absolutely right.
This is history. I see the globe right there. What did he order? Uh uh double cheese and sausage.
Who ordered the double cheese and sausage? Right here, dude.
No, it was deviled something. No, it was double cheese and sausage from the Mr. Pizza guy.
Well, yeah, Taylor Negron comes in and somebody ordered a pizza, but I swear. Right here, dude. We'll have to look that up because I I swear he says deviled something.
Or the deviled cheese and sausage. Right here, dude.
Like deviled ham, but it's not. But anyway. Oh, I know. I know. There was uh, you know, obviously, we see Forrest Whitaker and his his car getting destroyed. My father's a TV repairman, he's got a bitchin' set of tools. We can fix it. Uh interesting side note with all the things that we know about the movie. So, Mr. Vargas, who you were talking about earlier on the subway in Ghost, Vincent Scavelli. Yeah, who switched to Sanka.
My name is Mr. Vargas. Look, I'm a little slow today. I just switched to Sanka, so have a heart.
Who switched to Sanka, exactly. And uh doesn't he do the doesn't he stir the urine with one finger and then taste it with the other, or something like that?
That's how they used to test for diabetes. It's disgusting.
They used to doctor used too sugary. No wonder they get paid so much.
But anyway, at the end of it, you see his hot wife, who was played by Lana Clarkson, who, if you remember, later was shot and killed by Phil Spector, the record producer at the Wall of Sound. Um, yeah, Ronnie Spector's husband. So that's just crazy to think that she was like, because I remember hearing about that and and not really making the connection putting it together between who she was and and and her in that movie. But so other than that, there's just so much about fast times that we that we know. Doesn't anybody knock anymore?
Doesn't anybody fucking knock anymore?
Right. I mean, just such such great and and I uh and I'll just leave it with this. Through all of these, again, another Brad Pack adjacent, whom I love, Jennifer Jason Lee. Oh yeah, just uh she was and I just want to I want to find Ron the stereo salesman guy and punch him in the face and probably dem probably Damone too, but yeah, the least he could have done is gone with her.
Yeah, no shit with a dive bag. I'm sorry, I'm broke. I can't come up with the money, but I'll give you a ride.
And then he doesn't, then he ditches, yeah.
Yeah.
He's out in the garage working with his dad.
No, no, he says he's out in the garage helping his father.
I told you to tell Mike to pay for it. Why didn't you tell him? Linda he didn't show up.
That little prick. I called it uh he lived in the garage out of his father. Well, Mike Damone's a no-brained little prick, Stacy. I'm not gonna let him get away with this. I don't even like the guy.
Stacey, he's not a guy. He's a little prick.
Oh, awesome.
I love that movie.
Yeah, incredible. All right, Mark, that's number three to you.
Yes. Well, this is also a repeat. I had to have this on. The movie is called The Outsiders. Um, when this came out, we had recently did read the book in high school, and um, I'll get to that in a minute. But my favorite character in this one, my favorite two characters were Matt Dillon as Dally and Emilio Esteves as Tubit. He was a friggin' riot, and the tough guy was Dally, you know, Matt Dillon, and he was just a kick-ass character. Um, one of the things in this movie, your buddy there, Ralph Macchio, he was playing a 16-year-old kid at a he was either 21 or 22, guys. And he looked too young to play a 16-year-old kid. I don't know what deal he made with a devil, but my god. You know, so it's just a great, great movie. My favorite scene where one of them is when they finally, after the the burn and building, when they go in to save the children and everything. Here comes Rob Lowe as you know, soda pop and dairy, Patrick Swayze, and uh Pony Boy, and they meet together, and it just it was like brotherly love. It was like you, AJ and David, or me, AJ, and David hugging together, not seeing each other for a while, after screaming at each other or whatever, and realizing how much we love each other.
Oh, look at your tough hair.
I thought we lost you like we did, Mom and Dad.
She looked funny.
It just really spoke to me. I like the scene with going into the uh the big battle there with the socias, and I also love the part right before Johnny died where he goes, Stay gold, pony boy.
Stay gold, pony boy.
Stay gold, which Johnny's favorite scene.
Well, no, he's happy after the guy dies. The kid dies. But what I'm saying is stay gold, and I remember what it was like to be gold, and I can even remember the last time I saw things through a gold lens. I was coming home from a wrestling match, and I was probably 30, 31 years old, and I everything was still fresh and new to me. I was living in Manchester, and that was the last time. I understand what being gold is. I tell it to my grandkids all the time. I only have one left that's still gold, you know. But this movie is important to me. While we're reading it in high school, I'm living in going to a school where the socias dominate. And I came from a town where the Greasers, okay, we weren't greasers, it was not the 1950s, but we were the same socioeconomic class as the Greasers. And I often wonder if you co-mingled us in into the same school, you know, you bust us, put us in the middle somewhere, would me, Fred, Morris, Joel, Kevin, you know, Robbie, would we have be been befriending these other social type people coming from rich towns from Massachusetts and Connecticut? Do you think we would have fit in? I don't think so.
See, I do. I think if it was a kindergarten through thing.
I'm talking about in high school.
Ah, not in high school. Fuck no, not in high school.
No, I'm talking about you put I I was moved in eighth grade.
I know, that's what I'm saying. 70s and 70s. So that's my point.
I'm coming from that angle, and I don't believe we would have fit in at all. And but we would have had each other, you know what I'm saying? And this movie gets me emotional when I think about it. And so yeah, it was a really important movie to me, and it had a lot of brat packers in it, up and down. You had your secondary brat pack members, just a great, great movie, and I really enjoyed it. Oh, one other thing, Tom Cruise played the least important, least pronounced uh greaser, other than the other guys that they met at the Big Rumble. He was Steve, yes, he didn't even have a nickname, and he just seemed like just like this obscure member, and and and you know, then he takes off.
The socies ain't gonna come out, so she's gonna win, they know better.
And then he does like a flip over the chain leak fence. Yes, it's like his biggest line in the movie. Hey uh pony boy, what's it feel like to be uh like a real hero?
Something like that.
Yeah, anyway. Awesome pick mark and emotion for sure. Like when when they come into that hospital scene, that was incredible. Yeah, that hit me right there, you know what I mean? So all right, so that's number three to me then. And this is one of my deep ones that I had to put on here from 1983, Sean Penn, Ali Sheedy. It's the movie Bad Boys, all right. Not to be confused with the fucking Martin Lawrence Will Smith one, because this is the real bad boys, all right. You got Paco Morales, who was uh oh god, what's his name? Isai Morales, incredible actor. He was in Ozark. Uh, a lot of people would know him. He was the badass Mexican drug lord that gets shot in the head with a shotgun in Ozark. But this movie is so good, and I can't leave out the Kurgan or Mr. Krabs, Clancy Brown, baby, you know, was Viking, and uh Sean Penn just goes haywire, he's a bad dude, bad kid, and ends up killing Paco's younger brother by accident, hits him with a car, if I remember correctly, and gets sent to a juvenile, you know, institution. It's a fun movie, if I dare say that, although it's very dark. Because at some point, you know, Paco wants to beat up his girlfriend, and she ends up getting raped by one of his friends, and then Paco gets sent to the same place. Incredible movie. If if no one out there has seen this, it's a gem that you should really check out. But one of my favorite scenes in this movie, which I well, couple actually. One is when he fills his pillowcase up with like coke cans and beats the shit out of him. But another one is his roommate Howitz, this like little Jewish kid that helps him out all the time, is trying to fix someone's boom box. He's rigging it up. It's Vikings, or Viking takes it from the kid. This is the Kurgan. This is Clancy Brown, and he's like carrying it on his shoulder, like loving life. He's dancing with his boom box in his ear, and heroists like put a little bomb in it, and it blows up into his face. That's what I'm laughing, but it's a great movie.
You know, you talked about a few of the things that Morales was in, but I'll tell you, I always remember him as being Richie Vallins' older brother in La Bomba with Lou Diamond Phillips, who I I he didn't come up when I was looking, but he's gotta be like somehow Brat Pack adjacent. Oh, definitely Richie Vallins. I mean not Richie Vallins, yes.
And another guy who looks fucking incredible for his age. Yeah. Because he's way, he's gotta be way older than us, and he just looks amazing still. He's a cool actor, man. Yeah, yeah, I do like that for sure.
All right, Dongo, that's to you. All right, I'm going to have to take this one. It's a very popular Brat Pack movie. It had a lot of the Brat Packers. It had Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Molly Wing Ringwald, Emilio Esteves, and Allie Sheedon all sitting in detention for the Breakfast Club. I love this movie. It's classic. It hit me at the right time in school. You know, we had a lot of similar things that we were doing at school.
We always did the house.
Retarded, big mouth, know it all, asshole jerk. You forgot ugly, lazy, and disrespectful. Shut up, bitch! Who flips me turkey pie?
One of the greatest scenes of all time. This is what happens at my house when you spill paint in the garage. Awesome. Do I stutter?
Yeah.
Classic woman walks in a bar with a poodle under one arm and a two-piece salami under the other. She lays the poodle on the table. Bartender stays. I suppose you won't be needing a drink. Naked lady says.
I believe there is no punchline new.
Rick Moranis was supposed to play the janitor.
Uh, Carl? What? Can I ask you a question? Sure. How does one become a janitor?
You want to be a janitor?
No, I just want to know how one becomes a janitor because Andrew here is very interested in pursuing a career in the custodial arts. Oh, really?
You guys think I'm just some untouchable peasant? Sir? Peon? Yeah? Maybe so. Following a broom around after shitheads like you for the last eight years, I've learned a couple of things. I look through your letters, look through your lockers. I listen to your conversations. You don't know that, but I do. I am the eyes and ears of this institution, my friends. By the way, that clock's 20 minutes fast.
Oh my god, that would not have been good.
No, and he and it was worse than you would imagine because he kept trying to do this really like thick Russian accent and play him as like over-the-top comedic and whatever else. It's it just amazes me that people like the casting, you know, you hear them talk about oh, so-and-so was supposed to play this role, and you're like, it would not have been Nick Nolte as Luke Skywalker.
Yeah, right.
It just never would have been what it became.
No, it would be Dan Aykroyd and Caddyshack, too.
Oh, that was just the worst ever. Well, I love that.
That would be Rick Moranus in Breakfast. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Well, uh terrible.
I think Anthony Michael Hall was supposed to be Ferris, and Ferris splew his day off, but he turned it down. Yeah, Johnny B and Johnny Be Good. Terrible movie, too.
Yeah, maybe not the best. Yeah.
And he probably wants to, he probably wanted to try to break out from being the the geek, although that Ferris is kind of a cool guy.
You know, Ferris was a cool oh yeah. Yeah. But I I'm gonna go to Kevin here because I have a feeling you may have picked a repeat, Dongo.
Maybe possibly. I can't imagine that being on this list. No.
I mean, it was like what? Only every actor and actress in the movie was, you know, in the room was a brat packer. So right.
All right, Kevin. That's number two to you. All right. So my number two is kind of uh it's an audible right now, but I'll tell you what, it's I love this movie just for the opening scene. Um, definitely got some brat packers in it with Rob Lowe to me more about last night. The intro where Rob Lowe and Jim Belushi are talking. It was funny enough. And he's telling all these stories about this woman and having sex with her. And it's kind of funny because I mean, Jim Belushi's Jim Belushi. Rob Lowe, as you said, as I said, handsome man, kind of plays like a second to not quite as worldly as Jim Belushi, which is just laughable in itself. But he keeps asking him, so is she a pro?
In her room? Yeah. Was she a pro at that age? Yeah. Well, at this point, we don't know. So down we sit, we get the walking, this, that, blah, blah, blah. And it's come up to my room and I'll pay you back for the smoke. No. Yeah. I'm telling you. And was she a pro? At this point, we don't know.
So is she a pro? I mean, and the story goes from meeting in her bar to taking to a hotel room to her having on like a flak jacket and a German helmet and setting the hotel room on fire. And Rablo's like, So is she a pro?
Right. All of a sudden they hear coming out of the tape recorder. So fine. I'm pumping away. The tape recorder's making airplane noises. Everyone's a woman like a boom, and the broad in the bed stomach's going crazy, right? She's moaning and groaning, I'm bumping and bumping. She's screaming, red dog running, the red dog's commander, right? All of a sudden she screams, wait a minute, right? She leans into the bed, pulls on the five-damn jerry cabin, opens it up, it's full of inside. She's blacksters and all over the wall, flips the fucking zip on her flags, dude, and the whole room goes up and flames, right? So the paper card is going red, the room's full of smoke, right? The prop jumps back in the bed, she screams, now give it to me now, for the love of Christ.
It just keeps going on and on. And it's absolutely hilarious. And and you know, Belushi's got some great lines in it, and it turns into kind of again where the brat pack is no longer in high school. Rob Lowe and and Demi's characters move in together, and and it's that stage of life, which again, like I said in the beginning, how much longer could the brat pack be the brat pack if it wasn't for the David Blum article? I think it probably would have diffused on its own. Yeah. Because coming of age stories about 40-year-old people doesn't work. Not really that marketable. So anyway, about About Last Night was was was a pretty funny movie, but like I said, it got a little bit serious towards the end of it. Um, but very enjoyable and and fun. The original book was Sexual Perversity in Chicago, is the book title. Um, and the screenplay was written by Tim Kazarinsky, who is one of my favorite SNL characters in the um Ebersol years and the off years. Uh, he would have been there with like Eddie Murphy, played the little guy, and he was just uh a funny dude. And he has a small role in the movie as well. So that's my number dose.
Nice. It would have been interesting to see like John Hughes going on like later to not that that's a John Hughes movie, but anyone making a movie coming of age like that with a group of kids, like if there was a new group of actors and actresses to come in, because like you said, they just became way too old to be doing it. It made no sense, you know. All right, Mark.
That's to you. Okay, well, this I at my number two, I have picked a not good movie, according to Kevin. I'm going with St. Elmo's Fire. This was the soundtrack of my age in the early 80s to me. And I really enjoyed it. It was a coming of age movie, you know. These kids are trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives. I wish they would give me a few hits, because I still don't know what I want to do with mine, but let that go. Um, we you know, this is just up and down brat packers. You've listed the names already, Kevin. And one of the most important scenes to me is when Andrew McCarthy is uh uh Demi Moore is trying to set him up with another guy. And why is that important to me? Uh there was a time back. In a day when I did not date from you know a couple of girls tear your patents all apart. You're just gonna go into a show for a little bit. And what happened is I just probably unconsciously didn't really I did everything I could to make sure I didn't meet other girls by you know drinking pictures of uh coarse gold when I got out after drinking ten beers before I got there, stuff like that. Anyway, but the funny thing is, people start to consider what maybe he's not into girls because he I never know what I'm gonna date anybody. And uh and that happens. My point is very clear on that. Just because somebody hasn't dated for a while, of course, he comes out and says, I haven't dated anyone because I've been hopelessly whatever in love with Ally Sheedy's character, and of course, at the end, she can't, she doesn't want Judd Nelson or Andrew McCarthy, and yeah, it's just and the the soundtrack was like the soundtrack of those years to me. I love the movie. I mean, maybe it is a little rated high, but that's it was important to me. That's all that matters.
Yeah, that's all that matters. That and that I'm I again John Parr and that song was inescapable, and and just the music piece going into it, it just like instantly takes you takes you back to that.
You know exactly.
Um now Rob Lowe's wife in the movie, and you keep thinking about that when he's doing all the exploits and whatever you're like, he's got a wife and kid at home, and then at the ending, at the end, he's like, Oh, she I was gonna try to be a weekend dad, but she deserves it's like, yeah, it's a total fucking cop-out, dude. But anyway, it was Jenny Wright who played the wife. She was also the love interest and so hot in uh out of bounds, the Anthony Michael Hall one. And I didn't realize this until yesterday. She also is the hot groupie in Pink Floyd the Wall. Oh, geez. That's that's going into the truck with with one of the um with one of the roadies to get backstage, but then she ends up and she's like, Wow, this room is great. This is bigger than our whole apartment. Wanna take a bath? I mean, that's that's her, and that's like really cool that that kind of came around and tied in Pink Floyd the wall.
Well, I mean, want to take a bath? I mean, my goodness. She just wants her everyone to be clean for God's sake. I can't blame her for that. Maybe she thought the guy was a little bit I don't know, a little bit in the edges.
She she blew a roadie to get there, and he's probably had a few girls that blew roadies. So probably a good idea if everybody takes a bath.
Yes, exactly.
Glad that was preeds.
Exactly.
Takes a bath in bleach and sulfuric acid. Awesome. Uh too funny. All right, so number two to me, I hope this is not cheating because this is where I have the breakfast club, but I'm gonna pull an audible because I don't want to talk about the same movie over and over, and one of my toughest cuts off of this list is some kind of wonderful. This movie to me with Eric Stoltz, who is on our list, is just one of the funnest movies. Uh, from my day back then, I used to love it because I loved Watts, who was Mary Stuart Masterson. The character that she was. It's just this kid not making a ton of money, not you know, he's not rich. He's kind of the geek and going after the hot girl, Leah Thompson, which you know is kind of hot back then, not so much nowadays, if you look her up. And then you had uh Craig Sheffer and as Hardy. But one of my favorite characters in the movie is Duncan, who is Elias Cotius, just awesome. You know, just Duncan, he's the dude who's like carving shit into the desk. Of course, Eric Stoltz is to his left and like making this nice drawing, and he shows it to Elias, and then he rips the top of the desk off to show him like his artwork that he's carving in Is this detention? Actually, it's your mother's house.
And we'll let a party. And while we're on the topic of the double-breasted party machine, congratulations on your latest call. Yeah.
You know about Amanda Jones.
You think I live here? I have a personal life too, man. Anytime somebody from the outside lifts a woman from a guat like Jens, man, we could all find cause to rejoice. I'm proud of you, man. Guat. A guat, man. Punch your apron one time for me, huh?
I love it because the bully Craig Sheffer, who uh plays Hardy, just at the end, like invites them to a party to beat him up. Right as it's all about to go down, Duncan and his gang shows up and they're gonna wipe Hardy and them with the floor, you know, the floor with them.
I don't want any trouble with you, alright? My parents gonna be home a little while. You leave now and we'll forget everything. I just got the bullshit.
I'm gonna wipe the floor with your ass, and you know it, and everybody knows it, and you deserve it. I think it's safe to say that this party is about to become a historical fact.
Oh, oh, oh.
And he's just a cool dude in this movie. I'm sure you guys have all seen it, probably everyone out there, but it's a fun fucking movie for sure. I'll leave it at that, don't go to you. I have to keep it.
It's weird. Science, science, science, science. Anthony Michael Hall. Love it. He was awesome in that movie. Um interesting that uh the dude that played Wyatt, um Ilan Michael Smith, uh pretty much left acting. Uh, he did one more movie after that was like Superboy, and then he left acting in 1991, but he did do a return in 2017. There was an episode of the Goldbergs where he played like a uh science teacher in the title of the episode of the Goldbergs was weird science.
Mr. Connolly! It's a scholastic emergency! Come as fast as you can! You're a really good science teacher. I I got a question. No, no, don't bother the man. Sip it little nerd. I need to talk to the big nerd, sir. In your expert scientific opinion, is it possible for me to weird science up a girlfriend?
It was game over. Scientifically speaking, my teacher always took science seriously.
Absolutely. Until he didn't. I knew it! Watch out, Kelly LeBrock. Big tasties come for you. Why would you lie like that? Between you and me. I have a butt wad of an older brother, too.
Yeah. These are a great show, dude. We always used to joke about all the lines in that show. My favorite scene, we've already talked about it. Like it's the when she's in with uh Gary's parents, and you know, there's so many classics in that just that one scene. It's a pretty long scene, but I like especially when she's telling him, like, yeah, we're gonna go to a party. You know, it's it's not gonna be candle wax on the nipples kind of thing, but it will be a soiree of some type. Yes.
Where do you think you're going?
To a movie party. Movie party is what it is, folks. We're going to a movie party.
It's such a little lie out. No, I've whipped up this nasty little soiree over at his friend Wyatt's house.
So what?
Soiree, honey. I think that means uh party. Party. You know, there's gonna be sex, drugs, rock and roll, chips, dips, chains, whips. You know, your basic high school orgy type of thing. I mean, uh, I'm not talking candle wax on the nipples or witchcraft or anything like that. No, no, no. No, just a couple of hundred kids running around in their underwear, acting like complete animals.
And then like No. I love how after that the dad doesn't even know who he is. Right. Who's Gary? Gary, your son.
Who? Nobody mentioned uh Michael Berryman in that from The Hills Have Eyes.
Oh, yes, the biker that the bald dude, right? Oh he's awesome.
Yeah, the bikers. That was a good scene.
What does he say? Isn't he like a lawyer or something? I forget what his line is in it, but I don't know.
They they come in all on the motorcycle driver through the house, and he's like, I'm very sorry. He stands up to him and he's like, I'm very sorry. We we shouldn't have done that.
Thank you for having us. Yes, thank you. Well, the grandparents are in the closet, his cardboard.
Uh Chad is a green slimy uh monster.
Yeah, I did it out of love.
Awesome. A missile coming up through the kitchen.
Yeah. That's to you, Kev, and number one to wrap it up.
I don't think anybody's gonna be surprised by nine my number one, and that's Repo Man. I just I just love that movie to absolute death. I mean, his parents, it was such the 80s. You know, he goes home, his parents are sitting there, they're he's eating dog food, they've given his college money away to a televangelist. Uh, you know, he's at the beginning of it, he's working in the supermarket, stalking shelves, and the manager comes over and gives him a hard time, and he pushes his co-worker onto the cans that they're stacking.
And Otto, Mr. Hulk, you were late again this morning. Not normally, I'd let it go, but it's brought to my attention that you're not paying attention the way you space the cans. Many young men of your age in these uncertain times. Otto, are you paying attention to me?
Talking to you. Fuck you.
It's just, it was like that moment of you know, just being a teenager and in the 80s, and fuck you, and the punk music, and there were so many great little cameos. You know, Jimmy Buffett played one of the CIA or FBI agents in that. Uh Mike Nesmith was in it, Dick Rude, the circle jerks. I think that was kind of like one of the sparking points of the Brat Pack, but also like that awkward indie film kind of thing. It was not big budget, it was just friggin' bizarre. And and I loved it. And I mentioned her earlier, but uh Olivia Ramish, something like that. So she plays the girlfriend in that, but she was also in a few other she she could also be considered a uh oh tough turf. She plays a friend in in that as well as some other ones. Uh Olivia Barish could be considered Brad Pack adjacent. Absolutely. Okay, well, who's the main character again? Emilio Estevez plays auto.
Was Esteves. Okay, thank you. Yep. Repo man, baby. Yeah. That's awesome. I knew you were gonna have that, but I thought you might have dropped it because I didn't know it was gonna be your number one.
I to me that one just uh that one spoke to me. I don't know what it was. That the you know, the scientist driving around with the alien or whatever in the trunk, and he's just like, you know.
His mission is to repossess a 64 Chevy, but hidden within its trunk. What you got in the trunk? You don't want to look in there, is the most important discovery in the history of our planet. Repo man, it's a mystery.
Suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. Suddenly somebody will say, like, plate or shrimp or plate of shrimp, out of the blue, no explanation.
It's a comedy, it's a chase, it's the forces of law. I'm on my coffee break. Against the representatives of discontented youth, against the finest minds in government. I had a lobotomy meeting.
Lobotomy? Isn't that for loonies?
And they're all in pursuit of a 64 Chevy Malibu from who knows where.
And the cop pulls him over and he goes, I gotta look in your trunk. And the cop opens the trunk up, and then you just see this flash, and nothing but the the uh the motorcycle cop's boots sitting there, and the guy just drives off, and it's just it was just so bizarre.
Awesome though. Loved it. All right, Mark, number one.
Okay, I had to go with this one. It's The Breakfast Club, 1985, the ultimate movie about teen angst. I mean, everyone has their issue. They all have issues. You have the girl with the, you know, the Miss Popular.
I'm not saying that to be conceited. I hate it. I hate having to go wrong with everything my friends say.
Why do you do it?
You don't understand. You don't You're not friends with the same kind of people that Annie is friends with. You know, you just don't understand the pressure that they can put on you.
Miss Perfect, you know, you have Allie Sheedy. I I really I could uh relate to her because she was really weird and strange, and I really appreciated it when she needed snow on this beautiful painting she did, drawing, and she shook her head and dandruff went all over it. Um John Nelson, I thought it was great when he walks into the room and just knocks things over, and uh well he's he's got oh my god, he he has a place to stay for the next dozen Saturdays, so he's gonna be okay. Yeah, the nerd there, Anthony Michael Hall, and of course Emilio Estevez, the the the wrestler. And one of my favorite characters was the principal, Dick Vernon, Richard Vernon, whatever. And he I'm I'm sorry, he doesn't belong anywhere near that place.
Show Dick some respect.
He doesn't, I mean, I'm gonna make your life a live in hell, or whatever he was saying to Judd Nelson's character there. And uh, so I mean the two I could relate to the most, believe it or not, is Judd Nelson, because he was kind of delinquent and I was always into trouble all the time, doing whatever, getting into fights with socias, if you will, and uh Ally Sheedy, just a strange one. And the other three, I mean, I could be nerdy, I guess. They probably thought it was awkward, and uh I was never popular. I was I wouldn't say I was a jock, but I was into sports, but I could relate to them. And my my favorite scene, I guess, would be when they're all up there basically making confessions to each other and why they're there, you know, sewing, or not sewing, but what did he say?
I taped Larry Lestra's bunch together. That was you.
Yeah, and then Allie Shady is a big time liar, you know, because I she's banged everyone, but then she's never actually had sex, and she's making Molly Ringwall's character admit that she's a virgin.
You're a tease. I'm not a tease. Sure you are. Sex is your weapon. You said it yourself. You use it to get respect.
No, I never said that. She twisted my words around.
What do you use it for then?
I don't use it, period.
Oh, are you medically frigid or is it psychological?
I didn't mean it that way. You guys are putting words in my mouth.
Well, if you just answer the question. Why don't you just answer the question? Be honest. No big deal. Answer it. Just answer the question, Claire. Talk to us.
Come on, answer that question.
No!
I never did it!
Really tell all scene, you know? And it's again, teen angst. Absolutely. Yeah.
Didn't Ali Sheedy's character show up? Just she wasn't even in trouble. She just wanted something to do. That's what she said.
You want to know what I did to get in here? Nothing. I didn't have anything better to do.
And what was the Molly Ringwald? He says, Jud Nelson says to her, You'll put that raw, you won't take my dick in your mouth, but you'll put that raw fish in there.
Yeah, exactly. So you know, Esteves ends up with Sheedy and uh everywhere ends up with Ringwall, and the nerd ends up with nobody. Of course, he writes the letter.
So I always found that funny about the Breakfast Club is how he had to write the letter. Right.
One more thing that I have to bring up that I was gonna talk about earlier when I thought of this movie is it reminds me of the time in the Ford Fairmont driving back from Hampton Beach. There's John and Ann making out in the back, and then there's Tammy and David making out, and I'm sitting there driving. Boy, that was a great ride. Oh my god, and I hate absolutely nobody.
Fifth wheeling.
Talk about a uh return on investment. That John Hughes' budget for that was one million dollars. I don't know what the take was, but it it was probably a lot more than one million was like ten dollars now. You figure there's what six, seven actors alone is you know eats up that one million, never mind. Oh, in one room. So they probably didn't get paid very much for that movie, right?
Yeah, and they actually they actually had to rebuild that inside of a building. I can't remember. I think the school that they got to do it in was too beat up. So instead of redoing the school, they built that stage inside of the school, and I think that probably took most of the budget right there. But I think the cash register's still going on that one, Don.
Oh, hell yeah, it is.
And everyone knows the iconic song that went with this. Of course.
Don't you forget? Simple mind. All right. My number one, and I'm gonna have to just wrap off a couple honorables at the end, but I'll just say the names and not get into the movie. But my number one, I had to take this. I tried to avoid it so bad, but I couldn't not. And it's the outsiders, it's just so friggin' important to me for so many reasons. I was there in the theater watching this movie. Um, nature's first green is gold, her heart is hue to hold, her early leaf's a flower, but only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf, so Eden sank to grief, dawn goes down to day, nothing gold can stay.
It's like the mist is what's pretty, you know? All gold and silver. Too bad it can't stay like that all the time.
Nothing gold can stay.
Huh?
Nature's first green is gold, her hardest hue to hold, her early leaves a flower, but only so out. Then leaf subsides to leave, so eat and say to grief. So dawn goes down today. Nothing gold can stay.
Alright, and I get emotional when I say that because that's how important this movie was to me. I read the book about 20 times, I watched the movie 20 times, a thousand times, and I got my nose broken that night in front of Papagino's because I was a soch when I thought I was a greaser, apparently. So, anyway, it's just really important to me, but I'm not gonna murder this one, so that's that, and I'll go to you, dongo, to wrap it up.
I had to keep my number one. Uh it's been said before, but it's kind of my nickname's sake, and it's 16 candles. Yes. Um, just because of the donger. You know, no more, Yankee my wanky. The donga need food.
Sorry, I didn't mean to take that scene. No, that's fine.
I love it. I love it. That's you know, I love that movie. Um, I can watch it over and over again. There's so many good memories from that. That's all I gotta say.
Oh, yeah, that's it, right? There's so much to say about it.
But yeah, that was a funny movie. There's a lot of good so many funny moments.
Absolutely. I did want to bring up Q Zack in that one, too, him and his brother, how yeah, incredible they were, like always with the camera. Right, and such dork.
It's the one dude. Scope it out.
She doesn't look like a freshman.
Sophomore, sophomore. Who we ate sophomore meat. Dude, together talk to her. Talk, dude. I have a relationship with her. Figure to like stick a few digits. You are such a liar. Me and her interface.
But they were friggin' great together. Awesome, boys. Well, that was a lot of fun, and something we could certainly do more and more and more.
Yeah.
Right? But anyway, everyone out there, thank you so much for listening. We couldn't appreciate it more and loving seeing these downloads climb because they certainly are. And thank you all so much out there for listening. Kevin, thank you. Thank you. Yes, brother Mike.
Yeah, that was great, man.
Yeah, and dung. Thanks, free time. Mind, and I'm AJ, and we are out.
